	Local
	Economic Empowerment Program

The aim is to empower our long time workers. To
teach them new business skills and equip them to successfully manage a
	business.

	1 March 2015, James Ngobeni
took ownership of our Hammanksraal outlet, now known as Jipa & Sons trading.

James started working for Pretoria Brickworks in 2001 as a loader. He loaded
sand and bricks at our Rosslyn outlet. In 2003, James moved to our Mabopane
Outlet, as sales consultant. In 2006 the outlet closed down, due to
continuous criminal activity in the area. Since then, James has been working
at the factory, learning anything from Human Resources to stock control.
With constant mentoring from Erica Jacobs, our financial director, James is
learning the necessary entrepreneur skills to manage his own business.

Pretoria Brickworks will still maintain a working relationship in order to
assist James, should any problems arise.

Jipa & Sons' vision is to maintain the level of
service and excellence that James was taught during his time at Pretoria
	Brickworks.
